Joe, Jamestown NY Provence Morning
|
Client: Joe Location: Jamestown, NY Interior Designer: John Bradford Brandon of Aerie Design Services, Attica, NY Design theme: Provence Morning, from the Deborah James Coastal Collection Date completed: 2007
| |
Background: Joe is a business consultant and has been a professional colleague of Deborah’s for several years. He asked Deborah to design his kitchen because “she knows exactly what she is doing”. The design brief incorporated a beakfast room adjacent to the kitchen;while an arched feature was required over the entrance to the brakfast room.
Special features: Cooking enclave with adjacent shallow-depth cabinet recesses into the walls for Joe’s collection of oils and spices (Joe is an avid Italian cook and has a collection of oils and spices!); use of carbon-steel features without losing the overall Tuscan or Provencale look (Joe loves carbon and even wears a carbon finger-ring).

Client's eye view:
"Based upon Debi's first conversation with me, the first sample door she sent was exactly what I wanted and the plans surprised me... I fully appreciated her design work when I stood in my new kitchen and felt like I was surrounded by fine furniture and detail. The kitchen looks marvelous from all directions!"
